Another October, another set of wishlist. I bet there’s a geometric or exponential function that can define the increase of elements in my list of wants. Sad, yes. But at least, my list of wishes granted grows as well. Perhaps it’s just that you can’t have theem all at the same time. Else, the law of diminishing marginal returns might take effect and cause major decrements on happiness and satisfaction level.
Okay, moving on. October also means:
1) SP! - For those who don’t know, computer science students on their last year have a Special Problem as one of the final requirements. Instead of the usual thesis, SP is about a problem in the status quo that the proponent would be solving through theoretical or applied computer science.
Bad news is, there’s 80% chance that I won’t be able to present my SP proposal this sem. First, wasn’t able to finish Chapter 4 which includes the Data Dictionary and all those fckin diagrams and tables. I should have made it a priority to secure sample data. Another reason would be my sonovabitch of a laptop that gave up on me last August. To hell with that. I’m one away from finishing all necessary documents then it goes away like poof. Okay, it was foolishness on my part not to have a backup but still, I trusted that laptop and it left me in the dust all of a sudden. Tsk.
2)Final Exam and Projects - no need to explain this I guess? I bet there’s no place on Earth where a student considers exam weeks as anything else but Hell.
3)Sembreak! - Mothafckin sembreak!!! Damn it’ll be short. But I’m sure everybody else’s waiting for that wanted time for leisure and rest.
Oh well. Gotta live at the moment. AKA finish this work I’m doing and stop procrastinating. >.<
