Fanart I passed for ToyCon 2010’s DC Fanart contest.
To tell ya the truth, I had no intention of winning. I just wanted to pass an artwork. That’s plus one point for what I’ve wanted: stepping out of the audience’s seat and take part in the events. Also, I wanted to test my mettle. Could I do an something in such a little time? Could I do something that I’ll have confidence in to pass to an art contest? Yeah those are the reasons. I had fun doing the artwork.
When I saw the work of others, it gave me two things: realization and inspiration. Realization that this is the level of competition that exists here and inspiration to do better and next time, aim to be on par with that level of competiton.
Anyway, that’s just ToyCon 2010’s day 1. There’s still day 2. Uploading of day 1 pics is still in progress though.
